The International Congress “500 years of the Belarusian book-printing” took place at the National Library of Belarus, Minsk. During the two-day work of the Congress, there were seven sections: “Francysk Skaryna: personality, activity and legacy”, “500 years of book-printing”, “The book heritage of Belarus in local and foreign collections”, “National documents and collections in libraries, archives and museums: bibliographical representation”, “The history of librarianship of Belarus and foreign countries”, “Book – reading – library: the 21st century”, and “The book and the art: from Skaryna to present day”.
